Traffic Safety Merit Badge

4 boys came to the University of Iowa to receive their Traffic Merit Safety Badge on March 2nd, 2019. Safer Sim staff displayed a Powerpoint with different aspects of driving safety. As well as that, the scouts got to try the driving simulator. A police officer also came, having a conversation with the scouts, as well as the opportunity for questions. Lastly, we had different interactive activities, such as showing them the different functions of a vehicle, checking the tire tread, and looking at stopping distance.
